eBay.com Seller Release 12.2 :: eBay Catalogue Changes (USA)

Sellers can enjoy increased sales with improved product find and search as more categories are refined and introduced to eBay catalogue. Customers will be able to find relevant products quicker and easier so Sellers can enjoy increased exposure and those all important words, ‘more sales!’.

Electronics & Technology eBay Catalogue Changes –

Key Highlights:

  • From September 10th, sellers will be required to list with eBay catalogue in the following customer electronic categories where there is an exact product match:

    • CPU’s, Processors (Category #164)
    • Motherboards (Category #1244)
    • PC Desktops & All-In-Ones (Category #179)
  • Listing with the catalogue is now required for the following categories when there’s an exact product match:
    • Apple Desktop & All-In-Ones (Category #111418)
    • Apple Laptops (Category #111422)
    • Camcorders (Category #11724)
    • Cell Phones & Smartphones (Category #9355)
    • DVD & Blu-Ray Players (Category #175711)
    • DVDs, HD DVDs & Blu-ray (Category #617)
    • Digital Cameras (Category #31388)
    • Film Cameras (Category #15230)
    • Flashes (Category #48515)
    • Hard Drives (HDD, SDD & NAS) (Category #56083)
    • Home Speakers & Subwoofers (Category #14990)
    • Home Theater Projectors (Category #22610)
    • Home Theater Receivers (Category #14981)
    • Home Theater Systems (Category #72406)
    • iPads & Tablets and eBook Readers (Category #171485)
    • iPods & MP3 Players (#73839)

      If there is no matching product, sellers are required to add their item to the catalogue in order to continue listing.
