We built a custom sliding cart that slides onto screen when a product is added to cart or the cart icon is clicked.
This creates a fluid movement on the page that adds a level of professionalism and prestige. The benefits are that the client doesn't leave the product pages and can continue to browse. This increases ABVs.
We created a range of custom landing pages for a School Uniform Seller. This pulled in information about the school, maps, SEO friendly content as well as items for that school.
This allows each school to effectively have a microsite to dirve parents to as well as creating very specific long-tail landing pages for google
We created some advanced functionality to allow customers to set different options for a product. Instead of just switching the product image each image was layered on top of the previous option.
To create an image for each combination of options, using the traditional functionality, would have literally taken years.The client would have needed to create 2M+ images! We bought this down to just over 30.
We modified the BigCommerce product display to allow a customer to offer additional products in place of the original product to effectively create product bundles on the backend but add items on the front end
We restyled the functionality to display as a more friendly drop down list (mobile responsive) and also added Out of stock and pricing information.
Working with a 3rd party DVLA api, we added registration plate lookup to allow customers to enter their registration and then search for products that fit their particular vehicle.
This reassurance that the product will fit increases conversion rates, reduces returns and also allows for higher prices.
