The why

An eBay inventory is not hard to manage. It is hard to see.

Ask most sellers what is wrong with their inventory and the honest answer is that they do not know, because nothing anywhere shows them all of it at once.

01

eBay shows you one account, one page at a time

If you run three accounts you have three inventories, three inboxes and three sets of numbers. The business-wide view only exists if somebody builds it in a spreadsheet.

02

Nothing flags a listing that has quietly stopped working

A listing with empty item specifics, old shipping wording or a design from 2019 looks exactly like a good one. There is no screen anywhere that lists them.

03

Every change is multiplied by the size of your eBay inventory

Correcting one listing takes a minute. Correcting three thousand takes fifty hours, and there is no version of your week with fifty hours in it. So the change waits.

04

And the eBay inventory itself is stuck wherever it already is

Years of titles, descriptions, item specifics and photography sit inside whatever tool you started with. Re-keying is not a migration, it is a year.

Which is why “managing your inventory” mostly is not stock counting. For an eBay seller it is keeping thousands of listings correct, complete and selling — and that work starts with being able to see the whole thing in one list.

What’s in it for you

Three things you get back from your eBay inventory

One eBay inventory, every account

Listings, orders and messages from up to five linked eBay accounts in a single view, or filtered down to one when that is what you need.

You can finally see what is wrong

The scan reads every live listing and counts what each one is missing, field by field, against what its category expects. Free and uncapped at every tier.

A change happens once, not three thousand times

Set the conditions, see how many listings match, run it. Revised in place, so listing history, watchers and sold data all stay where they are.

The honest center of this page: the work that actually fills an eBay seller’s week is not counting stock. It is the three thousand listings carrying a shipping promise you stopped making, the eighteen hundred missing a Brand, and the four hundred that have not sold since spring. Those are the jobs here, and the finding half of each one is free.

Getting it in

Choose source → Map → Import your eBay inventory

If your inventory is somewhere else, this is the way across. If it is already on eBay, pull it straight in from there.

Step one

Choose your source

A CSV or spreadsheet, your own live eBay listings, or an export from Shopify, BigCommerce or InkFrog.

Step two

Map the fields

Line your columns up with eBay’s fields once. The mapping is the part worth taking care over; everything after it is mechanical.

Step three

Work on it

Once it is in, it is an inventory you can scan, revise, redesign and relist — rather than a file you maintain.

On eBay’s own File Exchange: it is a real route and it works — a spreadsheet in, listings out. What it does not give you is anywhere to work afterwards: no list of which listings are incomplete, no bulk revision across thousands of live listings without relisting, no design applied across the set. That is the difference, and it is the only claim we make about it.

Read this before you assume

Three different products get sold under these words.

“Inventory management” covers everything from a listing dashboard to a warehouse system. Here is exactly where this one sits, so you can rule it out in thirty seconds if it is the wrong shape.

  • This pageYour eBay inventory in one place: see every listing across every account, find what is wrong with them, change thousands at once, bring an inventory in and take it out again.
  • Not multi-channelWe do not hold one stock figure and push it to Amazon, Etsy and your own site. If you are shopping for that, you want a different category of tool, and we would rather say so than sell you this one.
  • Not live syncContinuous Shopify–eBay synchronization is FrooSync, a separate product. FrooSync is currently delivered manually while Shopify App Store approval is pending — it is not an automated live sync today. Ask us where approval has got to before you buy anything on the strength of it.

And two things we are not going to imply

No overselling protectionWe do not watch stock levels and pull listings down when you run out. Nothing on this page should read as though we do.
The free InkFrog migration offer is retiredIt ran, it closed, it is not on the table. The InkFrog CSV import itself is live and works — that is a capability, not an offer.
Try it on a sample firstImport a small set, look at what arrived, then run the rest. We would tell you that even if it made the demo less impressive.

A familiar shape

The sentence in four thousand listings

Somewhere in your descriptions is a line you wrote in 2021. It says you ship within 24 hours. You changed to 48 last winter when the carrier contract changed.

You know it is there. You have known for months. Fixing it means opening four thousand listings, or ending and relisting them and losing everything they have accumulated.

So it stays. And every so often a buyer holds you to a promise you stopped making.

Managing an inventory is mostly this: knowing which listings are wrong, and being able to change them all at once.

So how many of yours carry that line? That is a free question to answer.

The bit that’s usually missing

What eBay inventory management costs

Free to find, paid to apply — and the free part is the whole diagnosis, not a teaser. Whether a tool is included shouldn’t take three clicks and a form to find out.

Paid · one plan

Boost Basic

One plan covering the paid tools, including 25 Frooition Credits a month. Applying changes to live listings is the paid step — by subscription, by credits, or by a quoted managed service.

This tool specifically: Reading your inventory is free and uncapped — every live listing, across the account you link, with no cap and no charge. Importing is free up to 1,000 listings and 10,000 with Boost Basic. Bulk changes to live listings are the paid step, by subscription or by credits.
One eBay account on a free account, up to five with Boost Basic. A sixth and beyond is quoted case by case — not a hidden fee, genuinely quoted, because sellers at that size rarely want a standard setup.
Frooition Credits are $1.33 each, or less in packs: 50 for $33.25, 100 for $46.55, 200 for $66.50 or 500 for $133, bought as a one-off rather than a subscription. One credit does one action on one listing - and a credit is only ever spent writing a change to a live listing, never on finding something. Boost Basic includes 25 a month, 300 on the annual plan.
Quoted after an assessment, not priced here: FrooSync, a sixth eBay account and beyond, inventory imports above 10,000 listings, template design beyond 500 listings and FrooSync, Listing Rescue and inventory work. Onboarding is a separate professional service — the first half hour free, then $80/hour for new clients.

Straight answers

What we’re not claiming

Every claim on this page should survive a skeptical seller checking it. These are the edges.

This is not multi-channel inventoryWe do not hold a single stock figure across Amazon, Etsy, Shopify and eBay and keep them all in step. This is an eBay tool, and the honest version of that sentence is worth more to you than a vague one.
We don’t manage stock levels or prevent oversellingThere is no live quantity engine here watching your stock and ending listings when it runs out. What there is is the ability to change thousands of live listings at once, which is a different and more useful thing for most of what fills a week.
Live Shopify sync is a separate, manually delivered productFrooSync, pending Shopify App Store approval. We will not imply otherwise on a page that names Shopify as an import source.
Auctions with a bid cannot be revisedThat is eBay’s rule, not ours. Coverage is Buy It Now and auctions up to the first bid; after that eBay blocks revision on that listing and no tool gets round it.
No import maps every field perfectlyPlatforms model products differently. Check the mapping, import a sample, tidy what needs tidying. Anyone promising a lossless one-click migration is selling something.
We don’t publish a maximum inventory sizeThe tiers above are real. Beyond 10,000 listings it is a quoted conversation rather than a price list, and we would rather say that than invent a ceiling.

FAQ

eBay inventory management questions

Is this inventory management software?
For eBay, yes — it is where your eBay inventory lives, gets read, and gets changed in bulk. It is not a multi-channel stock system: we do not hold one quantity figure and push it to Amazon, Etsy and your own site. If that is the job, this is the wrong tool and we would rather tell you now.
Does it stop me overselling?
No. There is no live stock engine here pulling listings down when you run out. We would rather be plain about that than let you find out after you have moved your workflow across.
What can I actually change in bulk?
Prices, titles, descriptions, item specifics, business policies and listing design, across the live listings your conditions match — and the tool shows you the match count before anything is written. See Bulk Revision.
Will my listings be relisted?
Not by bulk revision — it edits in place, so each listing keeps its ID, its age, its watchers and its sold history. Relisting is a separate, deliberate tool for stock that has stopped selling: Auto Relister.
How many eBay accounts can I manage?
One on a free account, up to five with Boost Basic, all in a single list with the account shown on each row. A sixth and beyond is quoted case by case.
Is reading my inventory really free?
Yes, and uncapped. Scanning every live listing and counting what each one is missing costs nothing at any tier. We charge for writing changes to live listings, never for finding out what is wrong.
Can I bring my inventory in from somewhere else?
Yes — a CSV or spreadsheet, your own live eBay listings, or exports from Shopify, BigCommerce and InkFrog. Free up to 1,000 listings, up to 10,000 with Boost Basic, quoted above that.
How is this different from eBay File Exchange?
File Exchange takes a spreadsheet and creates listings, and it does that perfectly well. The difference is what happens next — here the inventory lands somewhere you can scan it, revise thousands of live listings without relisting, and apply a design across the set.
Can I get my inventory back out?
Yes. Export is part of the same tool — no request, no ticket. We think a tool you can leave is a tool worth trusting, and we would rather say so than hope you never ask.
