Frooition Update: We Now Support eBay Multi-Variation Listings!

The Frooition team have been hard at work implementing a much requested feature from our users: eBay’s Multi-Variation Listings!  We’re pretty confident you’re going to really enjoy using this new feature!

eBay’s Multi-Variation Listing Format:

eBay offer a multi-variation listing format that will enable you to showcase your stock and offer buyers great selection from just one listing. Price each variation of your item just the way you want and sell all the colours and sizes for a single listing fee.

Multi-variation listings help your customers to find what they want – and you can now list multi-variation listings from your Frooition Freedom account!

What Is A Variation?

Instead of creating a separate listing for a product that has a choice of options, you can create a single multi-quantity fixed price listing that includes all the variations of your product. For example, a T-shirt might come in various colours and sizes. Buyers can select which variation they want to purchase from the single listing.

What Categories Can Have Variations?

Currently, eBay Shop owners on eBay.co.uk can list items with variations in Clothes, Shoes & Accessories, Sporting Goods as well as selected Home & Garden and Baby categories. You can find more details on categories and restrictions here: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/listing-variations.html

How Do I Enable My Account For Multi-Variation Listings?

Actually, your account is already enabled. This is a global update for every Frooition freedom user! If you sell into any eBay category that supports Multi-Variation Listings, you will see this option during inventory creation. Frooition have created video tutorials and walk-through guides to assit you with this – simply visit the “help” tab within your account to find these.

On the other hand if you do not sell into any of these eBay categories don’t worry! this update will not affect you, and your listing process will remain the same. If eBay do roll out the Multi-Variation into a category you sell into, Frooition Freedom will be instantly updated and you’ll be ready to list with this new format in a matter of minutes!

FROOITION SHOWS AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR “ROUTE MAP” TO EBAY MOTORS SALES SUCCESSeBay and online marketplace specialists Frooition and Yahoo are jointly sponsoring an Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) conference in London entitled “Engage for Autos”. The event is being held at the Royal Commonwealth Society, London WC2 on November 30th 2006 and is aimed at auto manufacturers, retailers and specialist creative agencies and plans to show them how to exploit the latest Internet marketing opportunities and increase their sales.

At this essential half day event there will be the latest IAB Brand Engagement research, insight into consumer behaviour and empowerment, as well as some great case studies illustrating how the automotive sector has successfully embraced online to increase sales, engage their consumers and build their brands.

Auto advertisers are some of the biggest spenders in online, accounting for 13.8% of the whole market for the first half of 2006. Frooition aims to show them a new and potentially much more cost effective way of acquiring new customers online.
