Frooition Active Content Compliant eBay Design

eBay announced in the Spring 2016 Seller Release that they are stopping the use of Active Content in eBay Listings.  Active content includes JavaScript, Flash, Form Actions and plug-ins. This active content inhibits purchases on mobile devices and also poses potential security risks. From Spring 2017 eBay will limit the use of this content in new listings. By Fall 2017 eBay will block and remove new and existing listings. This means that sellers with active content will need to update their listings to become compliant with eBay’s new rules. eBay Give Sellers Free Pictures

In the eBay UK Spring 2013 Seller Release eBay announced that from the 1st August 2013 they would be offering all eBay UK sellers up to 12 product photos for any category instead of 1 free gallery picture. From today sellers can enjoy more photos of their products when listing items. The inclusion of more photographs provides a much better description of your products and allows buyers to make a more informed buying decision. eBay Seller Release 12.1 :: New Buyer and Seller Protections (Early April) – (USA)

In efforts to make eBay a safer and more comfortable buying environment eBay are introducing new buyer and seller protections.
