The eBay Business Roadshow continues to wind its way around the country with its first visit to Belfast, Northern Ireland on February 2, 2023.
The full day event, which takes place at the La Mon Hotel and Country Club, located just 15 minutes from Belfast city centre, is free to attend and promises an agenda jam-packed with content to help you build and grow your business.
What can attendees expect to learn?
In line with previous eBay Business Roadshow events, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with eBay advisors and discuss their individual business needs on a one-to-one basis. The event will also feature the following presentations:
- Starting and scaling on eBay: Senior managers from across eBay will deliver top tips and guidance on how to grow your eBay business. They’ll cover everything from the brand-new Start-up Scale-up programme, a 1:1 programme that pairs a marketplace advisor with an eBay business, as well as eBay fulfilment, listing optimisation, Seller Hub tools and more.
- Sustainability basics for small businesses: Ciaran Armstrong from Sustainable Pathways will give a rapid course on all things sustainability. Based on the highly sought-after Sustainability Basics course delivered by Small Business Britain and Oxford Brookes Business School, this is a not to be missed masterclass in all things “responsible business”.
- Small business seller panel & eBay grants announcement: Sarah Bryant, Director of Small Businesses at eBay, will host a seller panel alongside inspirational, small business owners and local entrepreneurs. They’ll discuss how they got started, what has helped them grow, and any tips they have for businesses who are looking to expand their reach and presence. Sarah will also share information on how roadshow attendees can apply for cash grants and support packages to boost their businesses will also be revealed as a part of this panel session.
Meet Frooition
The team from Frooition will be in attendance all day to discuss how eBay sellers can optimise their eBay listings and further scale their business by building their own eCommerce website.
