Excitingly, eBay are testing their brand new merchandising placement above the item description on the item page from early April. The idea is to inspire buyers to make a purchase based on what others have viewed or bought to enhance the eBay shopping experience and help increase sales across all of eBay.  This merchandising box will display the same, similar or related items from your own inventory or from other sellers.

Sellers can benefit from increased product exposure and increased sales from the new merchandising test.

What do I need to do as a seller?

Sellers can’t request to join the merchandising test trials, merchandising placements will automatically appear on the item pages of sellers based on buyer activity, however you can opt out if so desired. If you wish to opt out of the merchandising trial read more here
