Your catalogue shouldn’t be the reason you can’t leave.
eBay Catalogue Import brings a catalogue in from CSV, from your own live eBay listings, or from Shopify, BigCommerce or InkFrog — in one workflow. And export it again whenever you want.
- eBay-certified partner since 2006
- CSV, eBay, Shopify, BigCommerce, InkFrog
- Export as well as import

The why
The catalogue is what keeps people where they are
Ask a seller why they are still on a tool they have outgrown and the answer is almost never that they like it. It is that everything they have built is inside it.
Years of work live in the listing data
Descriptions refined by hand. Item specifics researched one category at a time. Photography. Compatibility data. Titles that took three attempts to get right. None of it is quick to recreate and all of it is easy to underestimate.
Re-keying is not a migration
A few thousand listings entered by hand is not a switching cost, it is a year. So the decision gets deferred, and deferred again, until it stops being a decision at all.
Which makes the catalogue the lock-in
Not the contract, not the price. Sellers stay with tools they have outgrown because leaving costs more than staying hurts - and the tool knows it.
And it cuts the other way too
When a provider closes, sellers who never had an export route find out what “your data lives in our tool” actually meant. InkFrog’s closure in June 2026 made that concrete for a lot of people.
What’s in it for you
Three things you get back
eBay Catalogue Import: your catalogue, not a retyped copy
The listing data you already built arrives as listing data - titles, descriptions, item specifics, prices - rather than being re-entered by someone at a keyboard.
One workflow instead of a slog
Choose a source, map the fields, run it. The size of the catalogue changes how long it takes, not how many decisions you have to make.
A door that opens both ways
Export is part of the same tool. You are not being asked to move your catalogue somewhere it can only stay.
The feature
Choose source → Map → Import
Import runs from the Listings hub in your Frooition account. Export runs the same way in reverse.
Choose your source
A CSV file, your own live eBay listings, or an export from Shopify, BigCommerce or InkFrog.
Map the fields
Line your columns up with eBay’s fields once. The mapping is the part worth taking care over; everything after it is mechanical.
Import
The catalogue comes in as listings you can then work on - apply a design, run a bulk revision, scan them with the Optimiser.
The detail
Where a catalogue can come from
Named specifically, because “imports from anywhere” is the kind of claim that turns out to mean one format when you look closely.

Not included

- No promise every field maps perfectly
Read this before you assume
Import is not sync. They are different products.
Shopify appears on this page as an import source - a way to bring a catalogue across. That is not the same as keeping two platforms continuously in step, and we would rather draw the line ourselves than let you discover it later.
- ImporteBay Catalogue Import moves a catalogue from Shopify or BigCommerce into eBay. Run it once, or run it again when you have new products.
- SyncKeeps Shopify and eBay matched continuously as stock and prices change. That is FrooSync, a separate product.
- Where FrooSync standsFrooSync is currently delivered manually while Shopify App Store approval is pending. It is not an automated live sync today. If continuous automated sync is what you need, ask us where approval has got to before you buy anything.
Two other things we won’t imply
A familiar shape
The quote that never gets accepted
A seller has been on the same listing tool for six years. It is slow, the templates look like 2018, and support takes a week. They know all this.
They get a quote to move. The quote is fine. The quote is not the problem.
The problem is the four thousand listings, and the quiet arithmetic that says moving them by hand is three months of someone’s life. So the quote sits in an inbox, and next year the tool is still slow and the templates still look like 2018.
Nobody stays because they are happy. They stay because the catalogue is heavy.
Which is why eBay Catalogue Import's export route matters more than the import one. A catalogue that can move is a catalogue you actually own.
The bit that’s usually missing
What it costs
Free to find, paid to apply - and the free part is the whole diagnosis, not a teaser. Whether a tool is included shouldn’t take three clicks and a form to find out.
Single item check
£Free
Paste in one eBay item number and see what is missing from it. No account, no eBay connection, and the single-item PDF is free to download. This is the box at the top of this page.
Whole catalogue scan
£Free
Connect your eBay account and the scan covers every live listing you have, uncapped - Buy It Now and auctions up to the first bid, which is where eBay itself stops allowing revisions. Finding is never capped and never charged.
Boost Basic
£30/month +VAT
£300/year +VAT · US $46/month, $460/year
One plan covering the paid tools, including 25 AutoFix Credits a month. Applying changes to live listings is the paid step - by subscription, by credits, or by a quoted managed service.
Straight answers
What we’re not claiming
Every claim eBay Catalogue Import makes on this page should survive a sceptical seller checking it. These are the edges.
