new FROOITION store experience eBay Certified Application

Do I need to convert to the frooition stores experience?
If you wish to we are ready to convert and upgrade your store. eBay has said that they will be enforcing the update in April.

Is there a cost for the experience upgrade?
Yes, this is an upgrade not a solution to a problem. We are providing many new features as well as reworking some graphics to fit in with the new storefront layout. The pricing will depend on your current layout and levels of custom work. Click the Quote Me Button to get a price.

Once the store experience becomes compulsory will I have to pay for the frooition upgrade?
You have the option to pay for the upgrade or you can choose to remove the design from your ebay store and just use the design in your listings.

Will the eBay Store Experience affect my listings?
No, the new eBay changes do not affect your listings in anyway.

I have clicked on the eBay Preview button but my store is distorted, why is this?
The new frooition store experience is a complete rebuild of your current eBay store and is installed and developed in an entirely different way. In essence you will be getting a completely new version of your current store that you will not be able to see until we have re-installed your store. To see examples click here.

I have had the NSE Upgrade - Why are all of my categories showing?
That is the default view. Due to the store changes all categories now pull in even if there is no product in that category.

We will be adding a category manager into the frooition software very shortly, where you will be able to turn of unnecessary categories.

This will also set your categories to the correct order as specified within eBay manage my store.

Why do my product images look smaller in gallery view?
The images are the same size but the background box they are in is much larger giving the appearance of smaller images.

Why is there a postcode displayed?
This is the postcode of the buyer and is used for location based shipping prices. (US only)

Why aren't category or search pages designed?
EBay have stipulated that none of the elements on store search pages can be modified. This is to enhance eBay's Trust and Safety policies as well as to make all searches have a standard look and feel. By keeping category pages standard we are ensuring that your store complies with eBay's rule changes.

Why aren't custom pages designed?
We are currently developing a custom page designer that will enable you to create fantastic looking custom pages with a lot more functionality. As soon as this is complete it will be added into your account.

What do I have to do now?
Login to your Frooition Account and click the upgrade pack button. You will then be able to checkout online and get straight into the schedule.
